Ingredients
- 100 g Milk Chocolate - [See good to know section.]
- 80 g Light Coloured Chocolate - [See good to know section.]
- 80 g Brightly Coloured Chocolate - [See good to know section.]
Other thing you need
- Food Scale
- Square Baking Pan - Size: 20x20x5 cm / 8x8x2 inch.
- Parchment Paper
- Offset Palette Knife
- 4 Bowl
- Dinner Spoon
- Cutting Board
- Cutting Knife
Recipe Video
Instructions
- Weigh your ingredients.
- Line your baking pan with parchment paper. How? [Check out my article and video!]
- Melt all your different kinds of chocolate in seperate bowls. Not sure how to melt chocolate? [Check out my article and video!][See good to know section.]
- Cover the bottom of the baking pan with melted milk chocolate. Make sure it is spread out evenly by using your offset spatula.
- Pour the other two types of melted chocolate over the milk chocolate. Make sure each type of chocolate is not just in one spot.
- Move a skewer through the chocolate in a circular motion. Do this till you are pleased with how your marbled milk chocolate looks.
- Put the marbled chocolate in your refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
- Take the marbled chocolate from your refrigerator when the chocolate has set and let it return to room temperature. (When you try to cut the chocolate when it is very cold, and thus hard, it will break where you are not cutting.)
- Cut your Marbled Milk Chocolate into twelve pieces and enjoy it for dessert or as a treat!
Good to know
- Storing: Make sure to store your chocolates in an airtight container in your refrigerator if you are not eating all of them right away.
- Shelf Life: The chocolates will stay good for several months if stored correctly.
- Type of chocolate: The better the chocolate is you use, the better your creations will taste.
- Dairy-free: Use dark chocolate and dairy-free coloured chocolate.
- Lactose-free: Use dark chocolate and lactose-free coloured chocolate.
- Gluten-free: Make sure the ingredients are gluten-free.
- Vegan: Use vegan chocolate.
- Organic: Only use organic ingredients.
Nutritional Information per Portion
Know What You Eat
Both when buying food or when making your own, it is important to inform yourself about the nutritional value. Have a look at the nutrition label, learn about your serving size and what nutrients this product will bring to the table.
If you want to compare different products and their values, it is easier to look at a label where the values are given per 100 grams. This way you get a better understanding of the categories certain products belong to when it comes to nutritional values. Is this a product with a high sugar content? Does it contain a lot of fibre? How does this product measure up if I am looking to stick to a low-sodium diet?
Keep in mind that if you are looking to eat healthily, you should not just avoid eating fat and/or sugar. We need both in our daily diet. Make sure however to be aware of where you get your lipids and sugars from. As a rule of thumb, you could say; variation is very important in your diet and in general, the closer your food is to come straight from the source, the better.
