In my daily life, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the field of Algorithmic Game Theory in Germany. In my free time, I exercise a lot and love to go for walks with Marron (a French Water Dog). Furthermore, I like to create things: I sew, craft, and of course, I cook!
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOS at the beginning of 2019, which, in my case, comes with insulin resistance. My doctor advised me to eat food that avoids peaks in the blood sugar, which comes down to decreasing the carbs (carbohydrates) in my food. Especially sugars and quick carbs spike the blood sugar, and hence, I try to cut them from my diet. Instead, I get most of my calories now from (healthy) fats and proteins.
